What shoes are currently trending this year

We’re onto something special when a trend offers that magical fusion of comfort and style. Back in the ’90s, it was all about the Nike Air Max and Adidas Sambas. Now there are so many brands it takes a lot of work to keep up! Whether that be Nike’s newest release, New Balance’s newest shape of shoe or Adidas’ latest rendition of the Ultra Boost. Whatever your style, today we’ll go through some of the hottest trainers/sneakers to look out for in 2023.

Nike Dunks

Taking inspiration from sneakers such as the original Jordan shoe, the Air Jordan 1’s and the Air Force 1’s, the Nike Dunk has become increasingly popular in the last couple of years due to the number of colourways you can buy on the market. Some of the most popular have been given names such as the “Panda”, “Valentine’s Day”, and the “Miami Hurricanes”. More commonly known now for the massive resale value of the shoe, the Nike Dunk is an iconic sneaker that rarely goes out of fashion.

Reebok Classics

Commonly known as the shoe for any occasion, whether working out, going out with friends or even going out to dinner with family members, they come in a range of colours, all of which are pretty neutral colours. If you need to finally add some Reebok classics to your sneaker collection, purchasing a Reebok discount code allows you to save money on any purchase made at Reebok.

Adidas Gazelles

The incredibly iconic Adidas Gazelle’s have unsurprisingly come back into fashion for 2023; using the same material since their release in 1991, the Gazelle is a statement sneaker due to their iconic silhouette people recognise a mile away.

Veja Campo’s

Veja as a brand is very slowly taking over the market; the surprise breakthrough in the last few years; the Veja is a clean, minimalist design, perfect for anyone and everyone’s everyday sneaker. The V on the side of the shoe is slowly becoming iconic, with many sneaker wearers across Europe.

Travis Scott X Air Jordan 1’s

Renowned American rapper Travis Scott has been making some noise in recent months with the release of his hotly anticipated collaboration with Nike. His lineage of Cactus Jack trainers that take on some of the Swoosh brand’s prominent silhouettes has built him an impressive reputation outside the music industry. The iconic Nike tick is flipped on this sneaker, making it instantly recognisable to all of the sneakerheads out there.

New Balance 530’s

The New Balance 530 is undeniably classic and comfortable and should be included in most people’s sneaker collections. Originally conceived as a performance running shoe in the early 90s, this unisex sneaker has been reborn into a retro style and showcases various innovative design features. The rereleased New Balance 530 is no less comfortable and remains an extremely capable running shoe, but its classic silhouette means it’s also something of a streetwear style icon.

Birkenstocks

The Birkenstock is a shoe that tends to regain popularity in the summer of every year; the iconic double leather strapped sandal goes all the way back to 1774, and the footwear brand soon became known for its soft-footbed shoes. Fast forward to today, and we still feel that same level of comfort across its range of mules, sliders and classic, two-strap Arizona sandals.
